[Verse 1]
Jesus let your kingdom come here
Let your will be done here in us
Jesus there is no one greater
Jesus let your kingdom come here
Let your will be done here in us
Jesus there is no one greater
You alone are Saviour
Show the world Your love
Show the world Your love
[Chorus]
King of heaven come down
King of heaven come now
Let your glory reign
King of heaven come down
King of heaven come now
Let your glory reign
Shining like the day
King of heaven come
King of heaven come
[Verse 2]
King of heaven rise up
Who can stand against us
You are strong to save
King of heaven rise up
Who can stand against us
You are strong to save
In your mighty name
King of heaven come
King of heaven come
[Chorus]
We are children of your mercy
Rescued for your glory
We cry Jesus
We are children of your mercy
Rescued for your glory
We cry Jesus
Set our hearts towards you
That every eye would see you lifted high
That every eye would see you lifted high
[Bridge]
King of Heaven come
King of Heaven come
Lyrics by Paul Baloche
King of Heaven Song Meaning
“King of Heaven” asks Jesus to establish His rule, reveal His saving power, and turn His people’s attention toward Him. It combines personal surrender with a prayer that the world will see Christ’s love and glory.
Biblical Message
Matthew 6:10 teaches believers to pray for God’s kingdom and will. Philippians 2:9–11 describes Jesus being lifted high, while Romans 8:37 expresses confidence through the One who loves us.
Reflection
Praying for God’s kingdom also invites personal change. We cannot honestly ask His will to be done around us while refusing His direction within us.
